Scott Johnson
Owner, Head Coach and Personal Trainer
Coach Scott has trained in mixed martial arts for over 20 years, and holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiujitsu, training under Pirillo Roritz in Fortaleza, Brazil.
In addition to Fight Flow, Scott is the owner of Sparkwave AI, helping businesses with AI-powered solutions to enhance operations and drive innovation.
Prior to his work at Fight Flow Academy, Scott served as a C-level executive in several education businesses, including eight years as CEO of Interactive Composition Corporation in Portland, Oregon and New Delhi, India. Scott is a graduate of Cornell University.
Anthony Bui
Coach and Personal Trainer
With over a decade of experience in coaching Muay Thai, Anthony brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team.
As the Southeast Regional Representative and Chief Referee for the International Kickboxing Federation, he combines technical precision with real-world fight experience, offering students a unique perspective on the art of Muay Thai.
Anthony’s classes are known for their disciplined structure and focus on authentic technique, making them ideal for both beginners and advanced practitioners looking to elevate their skills.
Shamsulhaq Basir
Coach and Personal Trainer
Shams brings deep experience and a unique perspective to Fight Flow Academy. He began training in mixed martial arts as a youth in Afghanistan and has developed a broad background across MMA, grappling, and kickboxing. Beyond the mats, Shams holds a Ph.D. and is an expert in machine learning.
Aileen Rossouw
Coach and Personal Trainer
Coach Aileen is a competitive fighter and expert level coach who conducts group classes and personal training for our members. Aileen holds a degree in Exercise Science, a master’s in Sport and Exercise Psychology.
Aileen is currently working on her Doctoral degree in Kinesiology while competing on the USA national Kickboxing team and working as a healthful living teacher for Wake County.
