Johnny Keokongsy
Coach and Personal Trainer
Instructor Johnny Keokongsy started his training at age five and was taught by his father, a former fighter from Camp Mung Si Koat located between Laos and Thailand. Instructor Johnny Keokongsy has also studied other martial arts such as Tae Kwon Do, Judo, wrestling, boxing, and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.
From 2007 to 2011, Instructor Johnny worked security at Raleigh's local nightclubs. He then later worked as personal security for local CEO's and for guest celebrities. In 2011, he was hired as the chief Muay Thai instructor and started his own Mixed Martial Arts fight team (Kruel Militia). There, he taught amateur and pro fighters the evolution of combat.
He also had the honor of conducting seminars working with: at-risk youth program (Second Round Gym), military basic training, Raleigh's law enforcement, and the LAS youth program in Atlanta GA.
He has made it his mission to preserve the traditional style of the South East Asian Art of Muay Lao and Muay Thai. He continues to share his knowledge and philosophy and the truth about self-defense and how we can protect ourselves in today's uncertain climate.
